Pathway Details
Terms for renewal or cancellation
Lakehead University will review this transfer pathway upon its expiration (e.g. normally every 5 years). Any change to this pathway will not affect current students. Lakehead will allow students enrolled at the time of any change to complete their degree based on the original requirements and regulations outlined in the Lakehead University Academic Calendar.
Eligibility for Pathway
To receive an offer of admission to the Honours Bachelor of Environmental Management program, you must complete your two-year Fish & Wildlife Technician Diploma with an average of at least 70% in the final year of your diploma program.
If you have two or more years of relevant career experience acquired after the completion of your diploma, as well as an average of 65% in the final year of your program, you will be considered for admission.
Credit transfer
Your college studies equate to approximately two years (i.e. 10 full course equivalents) of study at Lakehead.
Credits that must be achieved at the receiving institution
Students are required to complete all course requirements for their program as outlined in the Lakehead University Academic Calendar.
Anticipated normal schedule of student progression
You can complete the Honours Bachelor of Environmental Management degree in as little as 2 years, instead of 4.
All admits are required to complete the four-week summer transition program prior to entering the fall semester.
