Pathway Details

Terms for renewal or cancellation

Lakehead University will review the transfer pathway every five years, introducing new amendments as appropriate. Any change to the pathway will not affect current students. Students enrolled at Lakehead at the time of any change shall be allowed to complete their degree based on the original terms of this transfer pathway.

Eligibility for Pathway

Graduates of a 3-year diploma program in Environmental Technology from an Ontario college, with a minimum average of 75%, may be considered for admission into the third year of the Honours Bachelor of Arts & Science (Environmental Sustainability) program offered at the Orillia Campus.

Graduates of the 3-year Ecosystem Management Technology diploma from Fleming College, with a minimum average of 75%, may be considered for admission into the third year of the Honours Bachelor of Arts & Science (Environmental Sustainability) program offered at the Orillia Campus.

Credit transfer

Students will receive block transfer credit for the first 2 years of the Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science Environmental Sustainability program.

Credits that must be achieved at the receiving institution

Students are required to successfully complete all course requirements for their program as outlined in the Lakehead University academic calendar.

Anticipated normal schedule of student progression

Students can complete the Honours Bachelor of Arts and Science Environmental Sustainability program in 2 years, instead of 4.
