Pathway Details

Terms for renewal or cancellation

The University of Guelph-Humber will review this transfer pathway every three years, or sooner if substantive changes are made to the curricula of either program. Any change to this pathway will not affect current students. Students enrolled at the University of Guelph-Humber at the time of any change shall be allowed to complete their degree based on the original terms of this transfer pathway.

Eligibility for Pathway

Graduates from a 3-year diploma in Business Administration may be considered for admission with a minimum cumulative average of 75% upon completion of the diploma.

Credit transfer

Students may be granted up to 10.0 credits for a completed 3-year diploma in Business Administration with a minimum cumulative average of 75%. This is equivalent to approximately 20 courses.

Credits that must be achieved at the receiving institution

Students applying from a 3-year diploma in Business Administration may be required to complete no more than 13 credits depending on the number of transfer credits received.

Note: Please note that any student who is interested in focusing in the Accounting area of emphasis may be required to take additional courses to complete the program should they intend to pursue an accounting designation. (CA,CMA, CGA)

 

 

Anticipated normal schedule of student progression

Students applying from a 3-year diploma in Business Administration may complete the program in up to 2 academic years depending on entry point (May or September).

Note: Please note that students who are interested in focusing in the Accounting area of emphasis may require additional time to complete the program should they intend to pursue an accounting designation. (CA,CMA, CGA)

Credential(s) to be granted on successful completion of all required components

Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Guelph.
