Pathway Details
Terms for renewal or cancellation
The University of Guelph-Humber will review this transfer pathway every three years, or sooner if substantive changes are made to the curricula of either program. Any change to this pathway will not affect current students. Students enrolled at the University of Guelph-Humber at the time of any change shall be allowed to complete their degree based on the original terms of this transfer pathway.
Eligibility for Pathway
Graduates of an Ontario College Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion, Health, Wellness and Fitness or Lifestyle and Fitness Management, with a minimum cumulative average of 75% may be considered for admission into the University of Guelph-Humber's Honours Bachelor of Applied Science in Kinesiology program.

Credit transfer
Students may be granted up to 5.0 credits for a completed diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion, Health, Wellness and Fitness or Lifestyle and Fitness Management with a minimum cumulative average of 75%. This is equivalent to approximately 1 year of study.
Students will enter into a summer bridge (May-August) and will be required to complete an additional 5.0 credit. This will allow students to sequence into their third year of the program in the fall semester.
Credits that must be achieved at the receiving institution
Students applying from the Fitness and Health Promotion Diploma, Health, Wellness and Fitness or the Lifestyle Management Diploma will be required to complete up to 15 credits.
Anticipated normal schedule of student progression
Accepted students will be required to enroll in the summer bridge semester (May-August). Successful completion of the bridge will allow students to sequence into their third year of study (5th semester). Students are able to complete the program in approximately two calendar years.
