Pathway Details

Terms for renewal or cancellation

This agreement is effective from the date at which the program was approved, and the pathway shall be reviewed annually to reflect any changes that are made to either program's curriculum.  Students enrolled in the receiving institution at the time of any pathway changes will be given the opportunity to complete their studies based on the transfer pathway in effect at the time of the enrollment.

Eligibility for Pathway

Students who successfully complete a 2 year Diploma program with a GPA of 3.0 are eligible to receive up to 1.5 years of credits towards this 4 year degree program, and will be able to graduate with a Honours Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies Degree after 5 academic semesters plus 1 work integrated learning term. 

How to apply:

Domestic students will be required to submit an application via Ontario Colleges Application Service (OCAS) and select “degree completion” as their entry semester.  Official transcripts showing diploma completion and a final program GPA must be submitted.

International students will apply to the degree via Seneca’s International Student Web Application, and follow up with their Admissions Advisor regarding their pathway eligibility.  The student will need their Seneca application confirmation number when they reach out to their advisor.  Official transcripts showing diploma completion and a final program GPA must be submitted.

Credit transfer

Graduates of a 2 year diploma program will receive 15 transfer credits towards this 4-year degree. 

Credits that must be achieved at the receiving institution

Students will be required to complete 26 courses, plus 1 work integrated learning term. 

Anticipated normal schedule of student progression

Students will complete the credential in five academic semesters plus one work integrated learning term (equivalent to 2.5 academic years)
