Pathway Details

Terms for renewal or cancellation

Lakehead University will review the transfer pathway every five years, introducing new amendments as appropriate.  Any change to the pathway will not affect current students.  Students enrolled at Lakehead at the time of any change shall be allowed to complete their degree based on the original terms of this transfer pathway.

Eligibility for Pathway

Graduates of six semester (three-year) Business Administration college program with a minimum B, 3.0 GPA or 70% cumulative average in Business courses will be considered for admission to the third year of the Bachelor of Administration program.

Graduates of the following college Business Programs must complete a specified college transfer program: Accounting, Human Resources Management, Marketing, General Business and International Business. Graduates from these particular majors are not required to complete make-up courses prior to the start of the program. (Note: Other diplomas will be considered on an individual basis.)
 

Credit transfer

Students will receive block transfer credit for the first 2 years of the Bachelor of Administration degree program.

Credits that must be achieved at the receiving institution

Students must enroll and complete the specific courses for the final year of the Bachelor of Administration degree program as outlined in the Lakehead University courses calendar plus any other courses deemed missing following admission assessment.

Anticipated normal schedule of student progression

The program can be completed in one academic year (8 Months). However, if additional courses are assigned it may take longer to complete the program.

Credential(s) to be granted on successful completion of all required components

Students will receive a Bachelor of Administration degree.
