Students have the opportunity to complete introductory credits for the selected major in the summer term prior to entering Trent. Completion of these credits will allow students to seamlessly continue in 2000-level courses when entering their first year at Trent. Depending on the major chosen, not completing these introduction courses ahead of time may require students to complete additional summer terms or additional time at Trent in order to meet degree requirements. Consultation with an academic advisor is strongly encouraged. Students who are interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Education at the Intermediate/Senior (I/S) level are required to fulfill teachable subject requirements. 5.0 credits are required in the first teachable subject and 3.0 credits are required in the second teachable subject.
