Pathway Details

Terms for renewal or cancellation

This transfer pathway may be cancelled if major program changes at any of the institutions occur. Any change to the transfer pathway will not affect current students. Students enrolled at Windsor at the time of change or cancellation shall be allowed to complete their degree based on the terms of the original pathway.

Eligibility for Pathway

Graduates of two-year Ontario College Diploma Protection, Security & Investigations (formerly Law and Security Administration) programs with a minimum cumulative average of B or 70% and a minimum grade of B in each transferable course are eligible to apply. Accepted students may enter the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) program after completing a two-year Diploma in Protection, Security & Investigations (formerly Law and Security Administration) from any Ontario College of Applied Arts and Technology. Students that graduated from the former Law and Security Administration program also fall under this transfer credit pathway.

Credit transfer

Applicants may be granted up to five semester courses (2.5 full credits) towards the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree.

Credits that must be achieved at the receiving institution

Students must complete a minimum of three and a half years (35 semester courses, 17.5 full credits) for an Honours  BA degree.

Anticipated normal schedule of student progression

Three and a half years, seven semesters.

Credential(s) to be granted on successful completion of all required components

Bachelor of Arts (Honours), Multiple Majors
