Pathway Details

Terms for renewal or cancellation

Lakehead University will review the transfer pathway every five years, introducing new amendments as appropriate. Any change to the pathway will not affect current students. Students enrolled at Lakehead at the time of any change shall be allowed to complete their degree based on the original terms of this transfer pathway.

Eligibility for Pathway

Graduates of the three-year Business Administration Diploma program with minimum 75% cumulative average in Business course are eligible to apply to the Honours Bachelor of Commerce program.

 

Credit transfer

Students will receive block transfer for the first 2 years of the Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree program and will be placed into Year 3 of the 4 year program.

Credits that must be achieved at the receiving institution

Students are required to successfully complete all course requirements for their program as outlined in the Lakehead University academic calendar.

Anticipated normal schedule of student progression

Students can complete the Honours Bachelor of Commerce program in 2 years, instead of 4

Credential(s) to be granted on successful completion of all required components

Students will receive an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree.
