Students beginning studies in the Business – International Diploma program since Fall 2024 will receive the following 7.5 transfer credits: 

• 0.5 ADMN 1000H – Contemporary Issues in Management and Organization
• 0.5 ADMN 2100H – Introduction to Marketing 
• 0.5 ADMN 2220H – Organizational Behaviour 
• 0.5 ADMN 2410H – Communications in Organizations 
• 0.5 ECON 1020H – Introductory Macroeconomics 
• 0.5 ECON 2200H – Introduction to Statistics for Economics and Management 
• 0.5 WRIT 1001H – Write in Time 
• 1.0 unassigned Business Administration credit at the 1000 level 
• 0.5 unassigned Computer Science credit at the 1000 level 
• 2.0 unassigned Arts credits at the 1000 level
• 0.5 unassigned Arts credit at the 2000 level

Transfer credits for students beginning studies in the Business – International Diploma program prior to Fall 2024 will be assessed on a course-by-course basis

To qualify for this pathway, students must:

• Successfully complete Seneca College’s Business – International Diploma;
• Achieve minimum overall average of 75%

Transfer credits awarded through this pathway may not apply in full to all degree programs. Students are encouraged to consult an academic advisor regarding the applicability of transfer credits to their chosen program and for assistance with degree planning.

Applicants who do not meet the minimum average requirements, but who are otherwise admissible to Trent University, will be considered for admission based on general admission requirements.

Students pursuing majors for which equivalent introductory courses are not included in the transfer credit block may be encouraged to complete these courses in the term prior to beginning full-time studies at Trent University. Completing required introductory courses in advance may increase access to upper-year course options during a student's first year of study at Trent University. Students are strongly encouraged to consult an academic advisor for assistance with degree planning and course selection (http://trentu.ca/advising).
