Students who entered the Fish and Wildlife Technology Advanced Diploma program in Fall 2020 or later will receive the following 10.0 transfer credits, provided they meet eligibility requirements:

Students who entered the Fish and Wildlife Technology Advanced Diploma program prior to Fall 2020 are encouraged to contact Trent University for information about transfer credits received through this pathway.

To qualify for this agreement, students must:

• Successfully complete Fleming College's Fish and Wildlife Technology Advanced Diploma Program;
• Achieve a minimum overall average of 75%.

Students interested in degree programs not included in this pathway are referred to the Trent University website for information about admission requirements. Applicants will be considered in accordance with Trent University's general admission requirements. Students who meet the terms of the pathway will be eligible to receive the block of credits, but all transfer credits received may not be apply in full to all degree programs. 

Applicants who do not meet the minimum average requirements, but who are otherwise admissible to Trent University, will be considered for admission based on general admission requirements.

*Additional notes: 

• Courses without specified year levels must include at least 0.5 credit at the 3000 or 4000 level.
• Students are encouraged to complete BIOL 1030H Foundations of Cellular and Molecular Biology in the summer term following completion of the Fish and Wildlife Technology Advanced Diploma to provide more upper-year course options during the first year of study. Students opting not to complete BIOL 1030H prior to entering Trent University full-time may be required to complete more than two years of full-time study in order to complete all required courses.

This Agreement will be reviewed annually, or more frequently if significant curriculum changes occur at either institution that may impact the pathway. Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing one year's written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, the parties will make reasonable efforts to ensure that students currently enrolled in the pathway are able to complete their studies without disruption.
