Transfer pathways search

Students entering the Fitness and Health Promotion Diploma program since Fall 2023 will receive the following 7.5 transfer credits, provided they meet eligibility requirements:

• 0.5 KINE 2002H – Kinesiology 2: Exercise Physiology
• 0.5 KINE 3001H – Biomechanics
• 0.5 WRIT 1001H - Write in Time
• 0.5 WRIT 2003H - Workplace Communications
• 0.5 unassigned Biology credit at the 1000 level
• 1.0 unassigned Kinesiology credit at the 1000 level
• 0.5 unassigned Kinesiology credit at the 2000 level
• 1.5 unassigned Arts credits at the 1000 level
• 1.0 unassigned Science credits at the 1000 level
• 1.0 unassigned Science credit at the 2000 level

Transfer credits for students who entered the Fitness and Health Promotion Diploma program prior to Fall 2023 will be awarded on a course-by-course basis.

To qualify for this pathway, students must:

• Successfully complete Humber College’s Fitness and Health Promotion Diploma program;
• A minimum overall average of 75%.

Transfer credits awarded through this pathway may not apply in full to all degree programs. Students are encouraged to consult an academic advisor regarding the applicability of transfer credits to their chosen program and for assistance with degree planning.

Applicants who do not meet the minimum average requirements, but who are otherwise admissible to Trent University, will be considered for admission based on general admission requirements.

Bridging

Students pursuing majors for which equivalent introductory courses are not included in the transfer credit block may be encouraged to complete these courses in the term prior to beginning full-time studies at Trent University. Completing required introductory courses in advance may increase access to upper-year course options during a student's first year of study at Trent University. Students are strongly encouraged to consult an academic advisor for assistance with degree planning and course selection (http://trentu.ca/advising).
