Transfer pathways search

Students entering the Accounting Diploma program in Fall 2024 or later will receive the following 10.0 transfer credits, provided they meet eligibility requirements: 

• 0.5 ADMN 1000H – Contemporary Issues in Management and Organization 
• 0.5 ADMN 1221H – Financial Accounting 
• 0.5 ADMN 1620H – Introduction to Information Systems 
• 0.5 ADMN 2100H – Introduction to Marketing 
• 0.5 ADMN 2220H – Organizational Behaviour 
• 0.5 ADMN 2221H – Fundamentals of Managerial Accounting 
• 0.5 ADMN 2410H – Communications in Organizations
• 0.5 ADMN 3321H – Intermediate Financial Accounting II 
• 0.5 ECON 1010H – Introductory Microeconomics 
• 0.5 ECON 1020H – Introductory Macroeconomics 
• 0.5 ECON 2200H – Introduction to Statistics for Economics and Management 
• 0.5 WRIT 1001H – Write in Time 
• 0.5 unassigned Philosophy credit at the 2000 level 
• 1.0 unassigned Business Administration credit at the 1000 level;
• 1.0 unassigned Business Administration credit at the 2000 level;
• 1.5 unassigned Arts credits at the 1000 level 

Transfer credits for students entering the Accounting Diploma program prior to Fall 2024 will be assessed on a course-by-course basis.

To qualify for the pathway, students must:

• Successfully complete Seneca Polytechnic's Accounting Diploma;
• Achieve a minimum overall average of 75%.

Transfer credits awarded through this pathway may not apply in full to all degree programs. Students are encouraged to consult an academic advisor regarding the applicability of transfer credits to their chosen program and for assistance with degree planning.

Applicants who do not meet the minimum average requirements, but who are otherwise admissible to Trent University, will be considered for admission based on general admission requirements.

Bridging

Students pursuing majors for which equivalent introductory courses are not included in the transfer credit block may be encouraged to complete these courses in the term prior to beginning full-time studies at Trent University. Completing required introductory courses in advance may increase access to upper-year course options during a student's first year of study at Trent University. Students are strongly encouraged to consult a Trent University Academic Advisor for assistance with degree planning and course selection (https://trentu.ca/advising).
